Xpoint’s CEO Marvin Sanderson joins AGA board
Xpoint has become a new board-level member of the American Gaming Association (AGA), with Xpoint CEO and Co-Founder Marvin Sanderson serving on the AGA’s board of directors.
The technology company will also have a number of its C-level leadership staff sitting on several AGA committees and task forces, where it’ll represent the interests of the geolocation industry.
Sanderson spoke of his new position at the AGA and Xpoint’s role in the organisation: “We are very proud to join the AGA and look forward to being active participants across a range of the organisation’s interests.
“The AGA is rightly celebrated as the premier membership organisation in our primary market, and it is an honour to be sitting alongside so many of our industry peers within the AGA, helping shape the future for us, our partners, and our fellow associated companies.”
Xpoint has been in the spotlight recently, as the technology company announced it had agreed a partnership with PlayStar.
As PlayStar’s official geolocation partner, Xpoint is responsible for ensuring that the gaming brand’s customers can engage with its online casino in a regulated and secure digital environment.
Sanderson added: “2022 is proving to be a pivotal year for Xpoint, and I am delighted that we are now live with PlayStar. Obviously, each of our announcements is a major step forward for our team and our partners, but they are just the start of our story.”
Meanwhile, Xpoint also labelled a patent infringement claim made against it by GeoComplay as ‘meritless’.
